The Australian SUPER SOCO TSX motorcycle from V MOTO is built with unique mechanics developed with several renowned companies which make it the most popular motorcycle scooters in Europe due to their manufacturing quality.

It was designed based on the split frame concept of a racing motorcycle. It is waterproof and can easily be driven in the rain. It is more efficient than a gasoline motorcycle in storms and floods due to its wheel motor.

You have the option of including a second lithium battery, which gives it a range of up to 160km. In addition, it is equipped with a protection system that prevents overload and the life of it.

The Super Soco TSX is built on the same chassis as the Super Soco TS with extended swing arm but the motor power is 1900W compared to 1200W of the TS. These motorcycle-scooters have recently become the most popular electric motorcycles in Europe. They are called “the Tesla of electric motorcycles”.

What distinguishes the Super Soco TSX model is the symbiosis between the beautiful sporty design and the latest technological innovations relating to the battery, motor and controller.

Combined with a well-designed body, the TSX is the perfect urban transport vehicle that brings a smile to your face the moment you twist the throttle.

BATTERY
Super Soco TSx offers space for two removable Lithium batteries for a range of 160 km. A 60V / 30AH Panasonic high energy density lithium battery,

The batteries are the same type as those used in the Tesla Model S.

The batteries are equipped with an advanced battery management system - BMS which protects them against overcharging and ensures the battery life. Each cell is separated by 5mm from the adjacent cell, resulting in 4 times greater heat dissipation than conventional compact batteries, thus extending their lifespan. The battery is encased in a sleek and strong aircraft aluminum shell.

The batteries have a unique charging innovation that allows the batteries to be charged in 20 minutes for a range of up to 50 km. Full charge time is 3 hours.

The battery compartment can take two batteries which will double its range. The batteries are also removable and can be charged on or off the scooter.

The sophisticated BMS battery algorithm dynamically calculates the state of charge – SOC and displays it on the dashboard as the remaining driving distance available at each model.

 

ENGINE
The 12-inch BOSCH motor rotor is integrated into the cast aluminum wheel itself and it has been developed as precisely as a Swiss watch.

The motor is rated at 1900 watts, but it can effortlessly sustain a peak output of 3500 watts (equivalent to over five horsepower) when accelerating or driving up steep hills. At full speed, it returns to 800W when used on flat ground, which prevents overheating and extends motor life.

Torque is the main performance specification of a scooter and Super Soco TSx boasts over 150nm of torque at a speed of 45km/h.

IP65 waterproof
The scooter is waterproof so that it is able to drive through water. The SUPER SOCO TSX will keep riding through floods and storms while most gas-powered motorcycles will fail. The scooter has a certified wadding depth of 280mm.

CONTROLLER
The heart of the bike – the controller – is encased in a one-piece die-cast aluminum box for exceptional heat dissipation. It is mounted on the front of the bike for more efficient cooling although its oversized current ratings would keep it cool even on long climbs.

It is a field-oriented controller (FOC) that has a vector control algorithm that maintains efficiency across a wide range of speeds.

This controller also dynamically takes into account torque changes based on road conditions.

Finally, it is equipped with a dedicated processor that monitors all electronic components ensuring safe and efficient driving for you.

FRAME
The quality of the mechanical parts of the Super Soco TSx is no less impressive than the quality of the electrical components.

The unique mechanical construction starts from the frame which is designed based on the split frame concept of a racing motorcycle.

This allows for both a sturdy and lightweight construction. The front end is robot welded carbon steel which is then electrophoretically painted. It only weighs 6 kg. The rear half of the frame is made of aluminum alloy welded by argon robot and subjected to T6 heat treatment at the strength of 240MPa.

This means that the scooter is strong enough to support a load of up to 150 kg - 330lb.

SUSPENSION and COMFORT

Along with its impressive stiffness, Super Soco TSx also comes with exceptional suspension comfort. This bike is supported by 700mm long and 35mm wide inverted front shocks. With a distance of 200 mm, strong resistance to twisting and an aggressive angle,

It offers a comfortable ride even on rough terrain. The adjustable hydraulic and mono-shock rear adds to the incredible comfort of Super Soco TSx.

This motorcycle features a comfortable race-style padded seat and footrests that are adjustable to 6 positions.

BRAKES and SAFETY DEVICES
The Super Soco TSx is fitted with a massive hydraulic twin-piston front disc brake with oversized floating calipers. Since on any motorcycle the front brakes absorb 80% of the brake pressure, this brake will more than handle whatever situation you are in. On the wheel, a 180mm hydraulic disc brake is installed.

Waterproof switches on the rear and front brake levers activate the regenerative motor brakes, recovering kinetic energy and returning it to the battery.

Soft regenerative braking is always applied before mechanical braking, thus acting as an electrical anti block system - EABS.

The battery management algorithm also ensures that the maximum amount of converted electrical energy is recovered.

LIGHTS
The headlight is incorporated into an elegant futuristic-style housing. Six LED modules are switched on in combination for high/high beam. These provide brighter and wider illumination than the equivalent capabilities of a halogen headlight. Over 8000 lumens are concentrated in a 35 degree beam.

Thirty independent LEDs support wide-angle daylight. Rear running and brake LEDs are wrapped around the rear end providing 270 degree visibility.

The front and rear LED indicators are separated by 40cm from each other which makes this bike compliant as a motorcycle.

DISPLAY, GAUGES, SWITCHES
A combination analog/digital display is included in a sport-style dashboard. It displays current speed and fault codes, total mileage, controller temperature, real-time output current, battery charge status, distance per charge, trip distance, and distance remaining time, room temperature and current time.

Three electronic speed switches, a high/low light switch and an engine stop switch are ergonomically positioned on the right hand handle bar.

SECURITY
Super Soco TSX has a keyless start that only works near its frame. It has mechanical and electronic theft protection devices. It is equipped with a steering wheel lock that locks the handlebars in one position.

Apart from that, it has an electronic keyless start system which makes it almost impossible to start the scooter if you don't have the remote ignition activation button. The motor locks automatically when the motorcycle is armed.

BMOS and NETWORK – In development for North America
The Super Soco TSx is equipped with the Bike Management Operating System - BMOS which communicates with all the electronic components of the scooter and is responsible for testing them at each start. The GPS module, the security and communication module are integrated in the BMOS.

The BMOS can communicate with the smart phone via Android and OS by 4G GPS connection, and can transfer information of battery charge status, scooter location, fault reports, temperature, etc.

When a centralized Super Soco TSx server is installed, it will be able to analyze each technical condition of the scooter and send individual messages if special maintenance or repair is required.

The motorcycle can also be turned off remotely by the app or automatically turned off if it crosses a pre-set geofence. The application for North America is under development.
